The continuously variable system utilizes shift-by-wire programming that completely eliminates the need for traditional gears. Instead, this forward CVT instantaneously adjusts depending on the motorâ€™s compression ratios to enhance fuel efficiency. For example, under hard acceleration, the powertrain transforms to a lower static. Meanwhile, higher gears for cruising speeds demands increased CRâ€™s.
