LDW utilizes exterior sensors to track markings on the pavement to gauge center andÂ side lines. If an unintended departure from its path is detected â€” where the signal light is not used â€” the QX60 will notify the motorist. If no immediate action is taken, LDP kicks in by autonomously assuming control of individual brakes in order to correct the route.

High Beam Assist is another handy function in the ensemble. When switched to the â€œONâ€ position, the HBA system will automatically transition from bright to low settings, and then back again when an oncoming vehicle passes.
