The all-new 2019 INFINITI QX60 is many things. With 149.0 cu-ft of passenger volume to comfortably seat up to seven occupants, it's as functional a carrier as they come. A 3.25-liter V6 engine capable of producing up to 295 HP makes it a powerful commuter. And an impressive fuel economy rating of 22 MPG combined serves notice of its efficiency — despite its dominant size.
However, what truly propels this full-sized SUV into the upper echelons of luxury driving is the available ProASSIST package. The PA upgrade adds a full suite of proprietary technologies designed to both aid the operator and inspire confidence in all riders.
Included in the kit is Lane Departure Warning and Prevention, which work seamlessly in conjunction with one another. LDW utilizes exterior sensors to track markings on the pavement to gauge center and side lines. If an unintended departure from its path is detected — where the signal light is not used — the QX60 will notify the motorist. If no immediate action is taken, LDP kicks in by autonomously assuming control of individual brakes in order to correct the route.
High Beam Assist is another handy function in the ensemble. When switched to the “ON†position, the HBA system will automatically transition from bright to low settings, and then back again when an oncoming vehicle passes.

The 2019 INFINITI QX60 is a full-sized SUV with three rows of seating and space for up to seven occupants (and their belongings). With such impressive carrying capability, it’s safe to assume that buyers of this ride are likely going to be commuting with some precious cargo. Adding the ProASSIST Package can provide an additional layer of security to your experience and inspire confidence in all occupants.
The upgrade adds a full suite of proprietary driver aid technologies that are designed to support and complement the owner’s abilities. For example, the PA trim includes Intelligent Cruise Control, which is operative on a full-speed range. When engaged, the ICC system monitors the traffic ahead and will autonomously adjust the preset velocity depending on the flow and pace of vehicles in front of you. This function works well with the Distance Control mode, which allows the user to choose from three options – short, medium, or long. When selected, your QX60 will then maintain the desired length between itself and other automobiles in its path.
The PAP also features Lane Departure Warning and Intervention, which seamlessly operate in conjunction with one another. Utilizing a collection of sensors and radars, the internal CPU can see beyond your line of vision and alert you of objects in your path. In the event that you do attempt to change paths when it's unsafe to do so, the QX60 will automatically re-direct itself back into its rightful track.
