If you aren’t already into the all-electric craze, you’re about to be sucked in once you take stock of the sensational 2019 Nissan LEAF SV PLUS. This is a machine that will leave you dazzled thanks to its heightened performance and all-new driving range versus the regular LEAF models. In order to get a full understanding of everything this car offers, we’re going to rely on a recent review by Green Car Reports.
The new LEAF SV PLUS comes with a 62-kwh battery pack—up from the 40-kwh unit seen in earlier LEAF machines. Green Car Reports found they were able to go more than 152 miles on the highway and more than 210 miles in a mix of city/suburban driving before charging the battery. And when it did come time to juice it up, it took 11.5 hours to go from “empty†to “full.â€
The LEAF SV PLUS comes with a sizable step up in motor power compared to the 40-kwh LEAF— 214 horsepower compared to 147. This means you can go 0 to 60 in just seven seconds flat. Also, it comes with the e-Pedal, giving you the option of accelerating and decelerating—and even stopping entirely—with only one pedal.
