As a small business or entrepreneur, your eye is always focused on the bottom line, while also ensuring your profit margins remain healthy. When adding a commercial vehicle to your fleet, you take extra care when reviewing your options since you need your cargo van to be affordable to purchase and run.Â
Â
That’s where the 2016 Nissan NV200 S comes in. This compact variant is bolstered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 131 horsepower and 139 lb-ft of torque. It’s an inexpensive option to keep on the road too with an EPA rating of 24 mpg city and 26 mpg highway.
Â
But, don’t let the word “compact†fool you. The 2016 NV200 is extremely versatile, boasting a payload capacity of 1,480 lbs. The rear cargo hold can also accommodate 122.7 cubic feet of space and is long enough to fit a six-foot ladder. Accessing the haulage area is made simple with the large 40/60-split rear cargo doors, which are wide enough to fit a standard 40-inch by 48-inch pallet for easy loading. The low step-in height also eliminates the need for cumbersome steps or ramps.

Â
On the exterior, the S level trim is outfitted with practical 15-inch steel wheels and wide-angle spotter mirrors to enhanced visibility, while the two-seater cockpit features a tilt-only steering wheel and an adjustable driver’s seat for maximum comfort while out on deliveries. A fold-down passenger seat also provides surface area to complete reports and the mobile office center console keeps laptops, files and supplies organized.Â
