This trim level runs on aÂ 40-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery, which delivers power to the 110-kilowatt motor to create 147 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. On a single charge, youâ€™ll receive a range of 150 miles or an energy-efficiency rating of 112 MPGe. Thatâ€™s outstanding compared to a gasoline powered vehicle!

Battery charging is managed by a 6.6-kilowatt onboard charger, which needs about 40 minutes to refresh to 80 percent battery capacity (if equipped with a CHAdeMO quick-charging port). However, with a 240-volt Level 2 station, charging time will increase to about 8 hours, which is still considered average for the segment. This is ideal for drivers who prefer to juice up overnight.

Inside the cabin, the S trim is equipped with a 5.0-inch display for the AM/FM/satellite radio audio system with four-speakers and Bluetooth hands-free calling. Power windows and remote keyless entry are also standard for your convenience, along with air conditioning, steering wheel mounted controls and comfortable cloth trimmed seats.
