The Sentra 2.0 caters to enthusiasts who want to be in control at all times. The six-speed manual transmission provides for this, allowing you to drive stick. The powerplant holds up its end of the bargain, as well. It offers 140 horses at 5,100 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 147-lb.-ft. of torque at 4,800 RPM. The EPA also estimates that you’ll benefit from a spectacular 27 city / 34 highway average MPG, meaning you won’t have to stop for gas often.
The 2012 Nissan Sentra is great for passenger security, as well. It received a four-star overall rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The plaudits get even better when you examine the individual categories. The car nabbed five out of five in the Front Seat, Driver, and Overall Side Pole tests.
