When it comes to reinventing cars, no one does it better than Nissan. Teaming up with Italdesign in their first-ever collaboration, engineers are set to unveil the ultra-limited GTR-50 prototype. This unique creation is meant to commentate the 50th anniversaries for the Italian company and the GT-R itself. The exterior features distinct golden accent markings stretching over the width of the supercar. A more pronounced bulge can be observed on the hood, and the cabin boasts carbon fiber materials.
In 2004, Nissan partnered up with Toyota for the unveiling of the Altima Hybrid prototype. This mid-size, fuel-efficient sedan was set to release at the end of 2006 with mechanical components manufactured by the company’s main Japanese rival. The two international brands agreed back in 2002 to produce 100,000 vehicles together within a five-year period.
