In early March, 20 lucky people were invited to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to take part in Nissan North America’s first ever Titan Adventure. Guests included “super fan†Titan owners, influencers and ambassadors. Participants attended an an off-road “snow school†that taught them how to use the Titan to plow and excavate snow-bound vehicles.
Marmot, the outdoor clothing brand, created special participant gear including ski jackets and hats for the event and sent rock climber Gabrielle Dickerson, one of its athlete ambassadors, to check out a Titan. She’d never driven a pickup before—color her impressed.
Nissan chose Jackson Hole because it’s an “iconic destination for winter activities,†said Anne McGraw, senior manager, social media marketing for Nissan North America. “We were looking for the kind of travel destination owners would be excited to visit and the kind of environment that would showcase the truck being put through its paces.â€
There was a sleigh ride through an elk sanctuary, dinner and a tour of the National Wildlife Museum, and some mountain snowmobiling as well.
David Boyd and Daniel Grooters, co-hosts of the Nissan Nation Podcast, attended the event. “If Nissan invites you on a future trip, do whatever you have to in order to go,†Boyd said. Both Nissan and its Titan superfans agree.
