ford raptor for sale saskatchewan canadaThe days prove all too slow for Raptor fans - with Ford’s signature F-150 variant still months away from the production line (and the dealership). Specs have been released; images have been offered; but there’s been nothing tangible to sustain pick-up devotees.

This has finally changed.

According to TFL Truck, a sound byte of the 2017 Raptor has been released. Ford fans can now listen to the rumble of the V6 - an engine choice that was originally much contested by drivers. This F-Series model no longer boasts a V8 but instead features a 3.5L EcoBoost platform (which promises twin-turbo power and superior economy). Some worried that this would undermine the truck’s performance, but these clips should allay those fears.

The 2017 Raptor sounds fantastic, delivering a smooth exhaust purr. This will certainly appease fans of the original V8 platform, promising much-craved Ford performance. There's been no compromise, only innovation.

On June 26th the Goodwood Festival of Speed reached an exciting end - with the world’s leading manufacturers (including Bugatti, Aston Martin, and Mercedes-Benz) thrilling audiences with full-throttle displays. None of these displays, however, achieved the same reaction as Ford’s final lap in its much-celebrated Raptor.

Ford - in stark contrast with the convertibles, coupes, and rally-racers - brought its 2017 F-150 Raptor to Goodwood, stunning audiences with spectacular power. Watch below as the truck (deftly handled by former Top Gear performer Ben Collins) completes a 360-degree spin-out on the track.

Ben Collins - known across the globe as the former Stig - left Goodwood guests speechless when he sent the 2017 Raptor tail-spinning across the track. This feat demanded incredible skill... and undeniable power, utilizing the F-150’s V6 engine to ensure a smooth arch.

It’s no surprise that this stunt had the entire festival bursting with gasps, applause, and questions - all centered around the 2017 Raptor and its all-terrain capabilities. The Novlan team is certain that Goodwood will have a good impact on Ford’s upcoming F-Series sales.

ford f150 dealer saskatchewan canadaFor more than thirty years the Ford F-150 has dominated North America, delivering best-in-class performance and power. It’s become a commercial staple, adapting to even the most rigorous work conditions. No payload proves too strong.

And now no country proves too distant.

According to AutoBlog, Ford will soon send its signature pick-up across the globe - to China. Recent economic surges have bolstered the foreign market, with performance vehicles (such as the Mustang and Fiesta ST) earning strong sales. Consumers are craving quick speeds and responsive platforms, and the F-150 should serve as an ideal complement to the recent automotive shift.

It should also make a powerful statement. In an interview with AutoBlog, Henry Ford III remarked: “It’s big and brash and uniquely American.” This will leave it few competitors in China, where compact models have (until now) dominated. The F-150 will redefine the roads and the sales charts alike.

Should the F-Series launch in China become a success, Ford intends to push its F-150 even further - with Nasdaq reporting more than 90 potential new locations. This will introduce the world to V6 performance and staggering payloads.

ford f150 dealer saskatchewan canadaGood things do indeed come to those who wait. Never has this adage been more perfectly proven -  because the impending release of the Ford F-150 Raptor promises exceptional performance for drivers.

According to Torque News, Ford recently invested $145 million into its Raptor platform. The reason for this investment was an engine transformation, with the company redefining F-150 power. Instead of the traditional V8 behemoth, it chose to fuse the truck with a twin-turbo V6 EcoBoost.

This decision was originally met with much confusion. Critics assumed that drivers wouldn’t accept - or appreciate - a powertrain change. The V6 EcoBoost, however, has recently gained considerable favor with North Americans, helping to fuel most of the Ford line and delivering enhanced economy. Its precision makes it an obvious choice for off-roading.

Its performance will also impress. Though no official numbers have been released, many believe that the 2017 Raptor will generate (at least) 450 HP. This is a staggering upgrade from the V8’s previous 411 HP.

Could that record-breaking number be shattered in 2016? It’s possible - because the F-150 Raptor is coming!


According to Digital Trends, Ford recently premiered its 2017 Raptor SuperCrew, offering drivers a sneak-peek at this year’s ultimate off-roader. This V6 beast should ignite sales across North America, delivering a 3.5L turbocharged engine and a more responsive 10-speed transmission. Fox shocks ensure all-terrain performance, while the spacious interior promises a more comfortable riding experience (passengers can now utilize an extended cab and four-door configuration).

The most intriguing Raptor feature, however, is its Terrain Management system. With six custom settings - including Sand, Rock, and Street - this software allows the truck to instantly assess (and adapt to) changing environments. Drivers can now transition from urban centers to muddy backroads with ease.

In an interview with Maxim, Global Director of Ford Performance Dave Pericak said: “With the addition of SuperCrew, F-150 Raptor customers can leave the pavement behind – without sacrificing comfort and space.” Have truer words ever been spoken?

The 2017 F-150 Raptor is coming!


In 2010 Ford introduced the world to its Raptor lineup, injecting off-road fun into its F-150. Since then, the truck has become a powerhouse performer on both the charts and the back-trails. The 2017 variant looks to be no exception.

Watch below as Ford showcases its latest Raptor, testing the new design (500 pounds have been removed, with aluminum framing leaving the truck sleeker, faster, and more economical) against the dunes at Silver Lake State Park. 


The 2017 Raptor promises exceptional performance in any environment, even ones as challenging as the Silver Lake dunes. Though no official production date has been set, most critics expect an early summer release next year.

This specialty off-roader impressed with its Fox shocks, V8 engine, and six-speed gearbox: which combined for superior terrain traction. It delivered undeniable performance on the back trails.

Now Ford has a new Raptor to unveil - the 2017 F-150 SVT - and it looks even better than the original.

Check out these spy photos of the 2017 Raptor, as provided by AutoBlog. They showcase the truck's rugged lines and extended fenders. The use of aluminum materials proves most interesting, though: highlighting Ford’s dedication to economy. This SVT will be lighter, faster, and less fuel-consuming.

That’s something every driver will certainly appreciate.

No official date has been released for the Raptor’s production schedule. Critics predict, though, that it will arrive by mid-summer next year. We’ve got our fingers crossed that this timeline proves true.

In 2008 Ford unveiled its F-150 Raptor, stunning audiences at the North American International Auto Show (and, subsequently, the world). This pick-up performer delivered true Triton power, with a V8 engine promising 320 HP and 390 lb.-ft of torque. This combined with a four-wheel-drivetrain for exceptional all-terrain results.

 

That tradition is about to continue - because a new F-150 Raptor is on its way!

 

Watch below as Ford puts its latest pick-up to the test, propelling it through mud, up steep inclines and around sharp curves. The truck faces a series of punishing environments... and doles out some punishment of its own.

The 2017 Raptor proves perfect for any road. According to Motor Ward, it will feature: 3-inch FOX Racing shocks, internal bypass technology, torque-on-demand technology and an improved FWD.
