It can be a challenge to find an SUV that delivers on fuel economy. While the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe reinforces the gas-guzzling stereotype, the 2021 Jeep Cherokee turns out an efficiency to please any driver.
Although the Tahoe’s V8 proves comparable to the Cherokee’s V6, the latter provides more than enough punch to get you from Point A to Point B, boasting a whopping 293 hp and 260 torque. Â
The Jeep further impresses with a fuel economy of 9 l/100km on the highway and 11.2 l/100km around town, whereas all the thirsty Chevy can manage is 11.8l/100km hwy and 15.7 l/100km city.Â
Although the Cherokee and Tahoe are equipped with nearly identical gas tank volumes (93.1L and  91L, respectively), the first can carry passengers up to 646.6 km before needing to refuel. The second, however, will have to stop 14km sooner.
