The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is one of the few mini-vans to offer available all-wheel drive. In low-traction situations, however, onboard sensors detect slippage. The AWD system will kick in on wet roads, sand, ice, snow, or gravel. It also activates if the temperature drops to below 4 degrees C or when the sensors detect the vehicle moving up or down a steep incline.
