Before designing the ultimate work truck, Nissan polled thousands of Habitat for Humanity volunteers nationwide to find out what they really wanted in a work truck to help in their mission of creating affordable housing.
Nissan’s 2019 Titan XD Pro-4X–the only heavy-duty pickup not made by a Detroit automaker —will come with rear-wheel drive and either a 5.6-liter gasoline V-8 engine or a 5.0-liter Cummins diesel, available in King or Crew Cab models.
Last week, Nissan debuted its latest purpose-driven truck as part of the Calling All Titans campaign. Designed to aid Habitat for Humanity, the Ultimate Work Titan is outfitted to adapt to the rigors of home building, complete with a mobile office, toolkit and off-road capabilities.

When a natural disaster hits, beloved pets and animals can face unimaginable danger after being abandoned or split apart from their owners. Non-profit group Animal Rescue Rigs is passionate about this cause and was created to ensure that furry friends are never left stranded. Nissan recently partnered with the organization to build a specialty vehicle designed for deep waters and tough terrain, called “Paws One.†The truck is currently on display at the Nissan booth at the 2018 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
Whether behind the wheel or loading up the bed, less is never more with the Nissan Titan XD. This pickup cements itself in a unique position between traditional heavy- and light-duty trucks, offering the same towing and hauling power of larger, more expensive rigs, but with the fuel-efficiency and affordability of a half-ton pickup.
