2018 nissan titan xd sv for sale kirkland washingtonBefore designing the ultimate work truck, Nissan polled thousands of Habitat for Humanity volunteers nationwide to find out what they really wanted in a work truck to help in their mission of creating affordable housing.

The three top “wants” were: off-road capability; lockable storage bins and easily accessed tools for the truck bed; and an interior that can function like the mobile office it needs to be.

Nissan got to work customizing one of its Nissan Titan XDs (Cummins V8 diesel version). With the addition of tons of lockable tool boxes, Bedslide rails, a 3-inch lift kit, a winch, and LED work lights, the truck bed was done. The tool boxes were equipped with a chop saw, an air compressor, and a drill kit. With Icon wheels and bigger Nitto tires, Habitat’s Titan can go pretty much anywhere. And with the inclusion of a laptop and printer plus reconfiguring the back seat as a mobile office with not just a desk but filing cabinets, the volunteers’ wish list was complete.

After a brief appearance at the Indianapolis Work Truck Show, the customized Titan was donated to Habitat for Humanity. Nissan’s donated more than 150 trucks and $16.9 million to the housing charity since 2005.

2018 nissan titan xd platnium reserve for sale renton washingtonNissan’s 2019 Titan XD Pro-4X–the only heavy-duty pickup not made by a Detroit automaker —will come with rear-wheel drive and either a 5.6-liter gasoline V-8 engine or a 5.0-liter Cummins diesel, available in King or Crew Cab models.

The 2019 Platinum Titan XD 4WD diesel version includes premium leather interiors and exterior chrome. Both longer and heavier than previous Titan Crew Cabs, in a recent week-long driving test it it averaged just under 18 mpg (combined city and highway).

G. Chambers Williams III, reviewing the XD, said the Titan’s interior “is designed to feel more like that of a luxury sedan, with very comfortable bucket seats up front, and a quite roomy rear bench seat that genuinely gave three adults plenty of leg, knee and headroom. The roof is so high that you can even wear a cowboy hat.”

He also noted that while the Titan XD won’t have quite the trailer-towing capabilities of other three-quarter-ton diesels, and its increased bulk may pose parking challenges, “this truck was fun to drive, and quite powerful. It can get up to speed and beyond very quickly.”

The Titan features NASA-inspired Zero Gravity ergonomic seats in the front and rear. Can’t wait for it to be available? Hurry in to Kirkland Nissan near Renton, Washington, and take a 2018 Titan XD Platinum Reserve for a test drive!
nissan titan xd for sale in seattle tacoma kent newcastle washingtonLast week, Nissan debuted its latest purpose-driven truck as part of the Calling All Titans campaign. Designed to aid Habitat for Humanity, the Ultimate Work Titan is outfitted to adapt to the rigors of home building, complete with a mobile office, toolkit and off-road capabilities.

The automaker consulted with volunteers before designing the truck to ensure that the final product would meet their needs. It was built from a stock Titan XD Diesel Crew Cab Midnight Edition and was customized with a three-inch suspension lift, adjustable-height
coilovers, custom rod end bearings, and Delta Joint upper control arms. Nitto Ridge Grappler tires cover the multi-spoke wheels and the truck is equipped with Addictive Desert Designs bumpers with a Warn winch at the front. Lockable toolboxes were added to keep equipment secure, plus there is a tubular roof rack to mount ladders and longer items on the truck.

Inside the cab, volunteers can use the Titan XD as a mobile office to coordinate projects and stay connected with crews and clients. It features a 13-inch laptop, printer, desk, file storage area and
power inverter for enhanced productivity no matter where they work.

2019 nissan titan xd for sale seattle bellevue waIt’s an expectation of dull design. The pick-up market, you know, offers little in the way of style - with every truck sculpted for off-road demands and payload pounds. Functionality dominates.

Nissan intends to change this - connecting Auburn drivers to the dynamic lines they crave. The 2019 Titan XD is on its way.

According to PickupTrucks.com, the new Titan XD will impress every fashion fan. Anchoring the fascia is a revised grille, which replaces the traditional chrome materials with glossy black inserts and hexagonal mesh detailing. A custom Nissan badge sits in the center, flanked by wide halogen headlamps; while a dark bumper delivers a punch of color beneath. A gooseneck hitch injects rugged style at the rear; and an electrical plug fits seamlessly into the bed (which boasts a 6.5-foot span).

Nissan embraces color for the new year, fusing the XD with two fresh paint options - Midnight Pine and Moab Sunset. These both pair perfectly with the truck’s impressive design, complementing the imposing frame (244-inches in length, 81-inches in width, and 79-inches in height) and black accents.

With the release of the 2019 Titan XD Auburn drivers can (finally) expect more from their pick-up experiences. To request further information about this model - or to schedule a test-drive with our team - contact us today.
new nissan titan xd for sale in seattle tacoma bellevue washingtonWhen a natural disaster hits, beloved pets and animals can face unimaginable danger after being abandoned or split apart from their owners. Non-profit group Animal Rescue Rigs is passionate about this cause and was created to ensure that furry friends are never left stranded. Nissan recently partnered with the organization to build a specialty vehicle designed for deep waters and tough terrain, called “Paws One.” The truck is currently on display at the Nissan booth at the 2018 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

Paws One was built using a Titan XD PRO-4X gas truck as its base, which is designed for off-roading in its stock form. A Rough Country six-inch lift kit was added for better ground clearance and a military-grade Zodiac life raft was attached to the top to be used in critical search and rescue operations.

Stock wheels were also replaced with 37-inch Nexen MTX mud terrain tires attached to 18-inch TSW Black Rhino C.O.G. wheels. The Moose Knuckle Sandwich bumper by Hard Notch Customs replaces the stock setup and a 12,000-lb Smittybilt winch was added to remove debris or to help pull the truck out of tough situations. Bushwacker fender flares top off the truck’s exterior modifications.

Paws One is currently slated for deployment under the name Paws Two in 2019. Once in service, the truck will be operated by highly skilled search and rescue staff, along with experts trained to operate specialized vehicles.

Surf’s up, Renton! Grab your board and head for the shore - relying on the 2018 Titan XD to serve as both all-terrain performer and coastal camper.

According to CNET, Nissan has just unveiled its latest XD concept - the SurfCamp. This aftermarket option allows drivers to transform their pick-ups into seasonal powerhouses, delivering a series of custom upgrades. LED lighting flanks each side of the chassis, with strategically-positioned bulbs meant to maximize nighttime illumination (letting the fun continue long after the sun sets). Mounting points are placed along the roofline to accommodate boards and fishing rods alike, while an extendable ladder provides quick storage access. An integrated cargo system defines the bed, enabling easy organization of all neoprene gear; and behind the cab sits a Freespirit Recreation automatic tent, which unfolds to deliver summertime shade. A portable shower pump further delights, letting wave-runners wash away the sand and salt before sliding onto the leather seats.

Craving more than barrel rolls and bottom turns? Bring your boat along for the adventure, utilizing the SurfCamp’s rugged Cummins diesel engine - which yields 310 HP and 555 lb.-ft of torque. When equipped with a Class IV trailer hitch, this ensures up to 11,000 pounds of conventional trailering.

Off-road performance has just received a diesel upgrade - with Nissan delivering the 2018 Titan XD to the Washington market. This heavy-duty platform promises class-leading capability, reveling in its ever-surging redline (3,200 RPM); and it proves deft with each mile, introducing drivers to pure V8 power.

Are you ready, Everett?

As the Sentinel Source explains, the 2018 Titan XD has been engineered to impress. Anchored by a 5.0L Cummins V8 engine, this diesel platform generates 310 HP and 555 lb.-ft of torque. Turbochargers growl beneath its hood, providing two-stage capability (this helps to stabilize the redline and promote a fluid acceleration); while ceramic glow plugs conduct currents at optimal ratios to ensure a seamless ignition sequence. Piezo-style injectors maintain proper fuel levels; and an advanced particulate filter strips away corrosive materials to create a stronger, cleaner air flow.

To further enhance the off-road experience, Nissan pairs this platform with a six-speed Aisin automatic transmission - which boasts a low-to-high gear range that promotes superior towing. This allows the Titan to seamlessly accommodate heavy loads, utilizing transfer case technology to ensure more than 12,000 pounds of conventional trailering. No other diesel truck can compare.

The road seems impossibly long - drenched in summer heat and slow traffic. This will be no quick cross-county jaunt. Instead you find yourself trapped in the tedious stop-and-go of seasonal travelers.

Nissan suggests choosing a comfortable pick-up for the journey - like the 2018 Titan XD Pro-4X.

As The Chicago Tribune explains, the 2018 Titan XD Pro-4X proves a welcome companion for every adventure - delivering a meticulously designed interior that emphasizes passenger comfort. Slip inside the expansive cabin (244-inches long, 81-inches wide, and 79-inches high) and discover leather-appointed seating. Ergonomic cushions boast four-way power adjusters, ensuring a custom alignment; while integrated heating technologies yield multi-level settings to counter fickle weather. An intuitive memory system defines both the steering wheel and side-view lenses, seamlessly adjusting them to driver specifications (activate this feature by engaging the Remote Start function, which uses a key-coded fob to control all motions); and an auto-dimming rearview mirror adapts to changing light levels to reduce highway glare.

To further delight passengers, the 2018 Titan XD also boasts the HomeLink Universal Transceiver - an integrated module that allows for push-button control. Activate interior lighting; engage locking mechanisms; and even open and close garage doors through this system (which is connected directly to the truck’s electrical functions, therefore requiring no battery supplements). A streamlined experience is assured.

Endure tedious summer trips no more. The 2018 Titan XD Pro-4X will instead provide relief.

If your summer adventures have you camping on the beach, Nissan has the perfect truck for you. The Titan Surfcamp is a modified pickup, boasting all the trimmings you need to catch waves or your dinner. It’s based on a stock Titan XD, making the Surfcamp the automaker’s latest lifestyle-themed project vehicle.

Under its rugged exterior, the Surfcamp features a factory-authorized Icon suspension lift kit, which is available through Nissan dealers. It rides on Icon Alpha wheels wrapped in Nitto Ridge Grappler tires and features a Fab Four Vengeance Series front bumper. The blue-and-orange vinyl wrap was inspired by a 1971 Datsun Bluebird station wagon, dubbed the JNC Surf Patrol, as well as an exterior paint option for the 1967 Nissan Patrol.

Nissan added a Free Spirit Recreation Elite Series Automatic rooftop tent and Rhino-Rack Batwing awning for a comfortable place to sleep. It also includes a roof rack and surfboard/standup paddleboard rack so you don’t have to leave your gear at home. Anglers will love the fishing rod holder that has been integrated into the front bumper and the Yeti 125-quart cooler can hold the catch. When it’s time to leave the beach, the Titan’s integrated solar shower will wash away the sand, while the wetsuit-inspired seat covers and heavy-duty rubber floor mats stand-up well to water, salt, and grit.
