Ford Vehicle News For Saskatchewan Canada
It’s not often that we envy our Down Under counterparts - but the Novlan team can’t help but feel a twinge of regret when we see the 2018 Ranger rumble through the bush. This compact powerhouse has just made its Australian debut, and we have our fingers crossed that it will somehow find its way to us.

According to Motoring.com, the 2018 Ranger is a class-leading option for those who crave pick-up power and sedan maneuverability. Its nimble chassis - which measures a mere 126-inches long - can easily navigate the most crowded downtown centers. The 2.0L Duratec ZSD-422 engine yields a sprightly 158 HP and 283 lb.-ft of torque; while its six-speed manual transmission promises impeccable handling, allowing drivers to seamlessly transition from the highway to the backroads. This mid-size platform rides on 16-inch steel wheels and offers superior responses with every mile.

To achieve those responses, Ford has fused the 2018 F-150 Ranger with a suite of control functions - including its signature AdvanceTrac stability technology and trailer sway functionality. These promote a balanced ride, keeping the RWD perfectly aligned and reducing the chance of understeerage. Drivers can now tackle any terrain with confidence.

No official release date has been given for the 2018 Ranger in North America - but we have high hopes that consumer interest will spur Ford to bring it across the pond very soon.
