Power-Locking
Achieve optimal control over a tailgate. To engage the integrated locking feature simply press your key fob (at a distance of approximately one metre). The mechanism will release, allowing you to raise or lower the door as needed.
Remote Release
To further assure ease the new F-150 offers remote release functionality. Press the key fob twice in succession and the tailgate will automatically lower, affording hands-free control when carrying cargo.
Lift Assist
To scale the platform with greater ease take advantage of the assist feature. This step folds directly from the tailgate, allowing operators to easily slide into the rear of the truck (it also helps them manually close the door, serving as a lift bar when not in use).
