Available with one of two powertrain choices, the new 2021 Mazda3 Sport GT can come with the standard or turbocharged engine.
Most models are fitted with the 2.5-litre Skyactiv-G 4-cylinder motor. Pumping out 186 hp and 186 lb-ft of torque, it uses a 6-speed automatic transmission and FWD. You can maintain control over the gearbox via the steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters, and a Drive Selection switch is provided as well as manual mode.
If you prefer something a bit more powerful, then you can get the GT trim with the turbocharged 2.5-litre Skyactiv-G Dynamic Pressure unit. Delivering 250 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque, this version can be equipped with the Skyactiv-MT 6-speed manual transmission and i-Activ AWD.
