While the 2021 Mazda3 Sport is well known for being a fuel-efficient compact crossover, this pint-size SUV can be fitted with a much larger motor for more power.
Available the GT and standard on the 100th Anniversary Edition, the Skyactiv-G 2.5 T is a turbocharged DOHC 16-valve inline four-cylinder engine. With a displacement of 2,488 cc and a compression ratio of 10.5:1, it delivers 250 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque when 93 octane fuel is being used. However, these numbers drop down to 227 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque with 83 octane fuel.
This particular version of the Mazda3 Sport only comes paired with the 6-speed automatic transmission and AWD Dynamic Pressure Turbo drivetrain. You can expect to get around 10.1 L/100 km in the city and 7.5 L/100 km on the highway.
