Happy Canada Day from Cooper Boating!

We had a great time and even a few orcas came to celebrate.  Check out the photos and be sure to catch one of our three fall long weekend flotillas! (No Labour Today, Thanksgiving and Simple Pleasures in November)

What a SPECTACULAR EASTER event!  We had 11 boats - power, sail, monohull and multihull - all cruising the glorious Gulf Islands together.  The rain gods stayed away for almost the entire trip, with the exception of the bonfire.  We did get the bonfire warm enough to not worry about the rain.

None of us could pronounce Past Commodore Peter's boat name, so it was renamed "Eenie Meenie" (tender is Miny Mo)




The crews of GRYPHON and STRAY CAT contemplate life at sea over dinner at the floating Dinghy Dock Pub (some came aboard tender "Stray Kitten")




While the EASTER BUNNY had some trouble had trouble getting the fire started in the rain (umbrellas come in handy).... the end result was fantastic!




You can't find a better spot for an EASTER TREASURE HUNT -- a might treacherous however after the evening rains the night before

it's been a short week - although we managed to have the busiest boat shuffle in our 30 year history

over two million dollars in yachts added or changed hands
in the COOPER FLEET this week

WHILE GRATEFUL THE MARKET WOKE UP, it was a bit odd to all happen same week

there are a few more items brewing that we can tell you about later, meantime, we're off to enjoy the beautiful EASTER WEEKEND weather on our legendary flotilla and recover from this week

Willkommen  "ACappella"  !!

After much  anticipation, our *NEW* 2011 Bavaria 45 has  arrived at our Vancouver
 docks! She's just visiting, however, as she'll be spending most of this summer
in the natural beauty of Desolation Sound. 

"ACappella"  sleeps 8 in 4 cabins and features a powered retractable aft swim platform for
those warm Desolation Sound waters (22-26 degrees Celsius in the summer)!

This lovely lady is booked up for much of the summer already, but still has some time in August
and September for a lucky charterer!
