The open houses are in the schedule.  Come mix with the community and get your season off to a great start.   If you register, we hope to have you on the water with an instructor or member.   April 7 in Vancouver and May 12 in Sidney are booking now.

More than we asked for!  A band of merry mentorors and mentorees set off yesterday afternoon for a sail to polish those skills and blow off a few cobwebs. 



Conditions were near perfect... starting off in windier conditions that moderated, there were opportunities to sail the boat and get the most out of it.  Then it got better - while coming in, a humpback whale was spotted off the bow.   Using newly freshened skills, the crew worked to sail closer to their great whale - which moved strategically upwind!



So, we've all heard about humpday -- but with us you can experience humpback day!  Want to be part of the fun... our community connects via Meetup site.

ADVENTURE SAILING courses in 2013 are looking more excitng then ever!  We are looking forward to the arrival of ALEGRIA, a  brand new 2013 Dufour 45e 4 cabin yacht to our school fleet for next season. This Dufour  won the 2011 cruising world  boat of the year award.  A great all round performer, ALEGRIA  will certainly make an impression on the students going round Vancouver Island in 2013.  Our 2013 dates will be published in the fall, so let us know if you would like to be notified of our next round Vancouver Island Course.  When not out on Advanced level courses, ALEGRIA will also be available for charter during the 2013 season.
