According to the Tico Times, Manuel Antonio, Tortuguero National Park and the Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge will each benefit from a $20 million loan provided by the National System of Conservation Areas (SINA).

This loan, which will be split evenly between the parks, will help to establish new trails and canals, as well as repair roadways and park facilities. It will provide visitors with more efficient and safe ways to experience the Central Pacific.

This is exceptional news for eco-tourists, allowing them to better explore the Manuel Antonio region. The park, which is frequently ranked as the most popular attractions in Costa Rica, will receive eight trails, charter docking stations and more.
