The 2017 INFINITI QX70 is a familiar vehicle that’s been around since its inception as the FX in 2009. Since then, it’s seen minor aesthetic tweaks and subtle changes, but overall maintains its iconic and well-loved design because… well, what’s the point of messing with a good thing?
From its racy roofline and sleek sheet metal bodywork, this athletic CUV elevates a traditional hunchback wagon to a new level of modern elegance. Featuring a modestly updated front fascia that highlights the brand’s signature double-arch grille, the vehicle gives off a piercing gaze with aggressive human-eye like LED High-Intensity Discharge bi-xenon headlights.
Equipped with a 3.7-liter V6 engine with VVEL technology, it easily produces 325 HP and 267 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission with a "sport" mode gearbox, the QX70 offers superior performance prowess that can easily be felt when navigating winding highway roads. Much of its handling ability can be contributed to its shared chassis with the G37 sedan. Regardless of origin, however, the bottom line is that this is a remarkable crossover that drives like a cruiser.
