In its 10th model year, the 2017 INFINITI QX50 continues to be a standout in its class. From its sporty sedan-like handling to its coupe-like appearance and luxury features, this crossover leaves little to be desired.
For starters, this four-door is zippy. Locked and loaded with a 3.7-liter V6 engine, it can produce 325 HP and 267 lb-ft of torque with ease. Paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission that adapts seamlessly to driver inputs, it also has “sport mode†capabilities for quicker shifts when the conditions call for it.

Where styling is concerned, this bubbly hatchback hits all the marks. It’s a tall-roofed wagon that isn’t trying to be an SUV. According to The Car Connection, it maintains a fresh and attractive exterior.
Thanks to an independent suspension, and a slight elongation of the wheelbase (now 113.4 inches)–which helps damp out bumps in the road–the ride is smooth. Four-wheel disc-brakes ensure this unit can stop on a dime without any residual kick-backs.
To further impress, the QX50 comes equipped with a full suite of power features. While automatic climate control and dual-zone air conditioning ensure creature comforts in the cabin, Adaptive Cruise works to maintain a consistent pace with the cars ahead and Electronic Stability innovations prevent loss of traction on the road.
