While the SUV only sees a nominal weight loss (less than 100 lbs.) over its predecessor, there is a reported 30% increase in fuel economy. The 2019 QX50, with a combined 26 mpg (24 city/30 highway), surpasses the 2017 model and its 20 mpg combined (17 city/24 highway).Â

This is all in line with the initiative announced by Nissan to lower CO2 emissions from new vehicles by 40%. Weâ€™re certain to see more INFINITI models made with SHF down the road.Â Â
