Gone are the days of the truck-like Pathfinder. Instead, this new generation features the approachability of the ever-popular crossover design. As Kelley Blue Book reveals, the 2016 Pathfinder S particularly straddles the worlds of performance and sensibility perfectly. 


Firstly, there is plenty of power here—don’t let the new curvy, unassuming and aerodynamic look fool you. The 3.5L V6 engine is still a beast, producing 260 horses and 240-lb.-ft. of torque. The Xtronic two-speed continuously variable transmission makes the driving experience super smooth through eliminating fixed gear ratios. Also, mileage is great—you’ll receive an estimated 27 MPG highway / 20 city.

Storage within the Pathfinder S is plentiful. When all seats are up, you’ll receive 16 cubic feet of space. However, with the back row down that number balloons to 47.8 cubic feet, and with everything folded you’ll receive an impressive maximum cargo area of 79.8 cubic feet. This means that whether you’re stocking groceries after a run to the store or packing for a lengthy family camping trip, you’ll always be ready for what the situation calls for.

“George Walters” takes the 2017 Nissan Frontier SV pickup for a spin in his YouTube review below. It’s a fantastic ride for anyone looking for both performance and safety—in other words, most everyone in the market for a new vehicle!


Your occupants will be secure when they’re in this truck. The Frontier SV receives high praise in government tests by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for this model year. It scores an overall four out of five stars. Additionally, it received perfect marks in the following categories: “Side Barrier, “Overall Side Pole,” “Combined Rear Seat,” “Front Seat,” “Side Crash Driver Side,” “Side Crash Passenger Side,” and “Overall Side.”

This version has a souped-up 1.6L four-cylinder matched to a six-speed manual transmission—perfect for those that want to feel that connection to the car while driving! Power is a significant departure from other models in this range, as you’ll enjoy 188 HP and 177-lb.-ft. of torque. Fuel efficiency is tops, too, with an EPA-estimated 33 MPG on the highway.

Inside, the Sentra SR Turbo delivers some awesome luxury features. The seat cloth is an upgraded premium material and the driver’s side receives lumbar support. It’s a vehicle that excels in so many areas, although chief among these is its emphasis on driver comfort and its insistence on a fantastic driving experience.
