I live in Ontario and wanted to purchase a Ford transit. There were many challenges in figuring out how we would get the vehicle to the East coast. Jag helped me patiently throughout the whole process. Any time I needed something I was able to text him and he responded as soon as he was able. It was a pleasure dealing with Jag and Key West Ford! Thank you all!

These guys don’t communicate with each other.

These guys don’t communicate with each other. We wasted hours at the dealership test driving and getting a contract worked out and at the last minute we were told, “ oh this truck was sold 2 days ago”. We had taken a ferry into the city specifically to purchase this truck. How hard is it for the sales guys to put a sold sign on a vehicle? You would think they would have a bulletin board with inventory sales listed. Unacceptable!

We had an exceptional experience at Key West Ford. Their entire team was kind, helpful and responsive when dealing with us (and our kiddies). Ian Riddell, Sales manager helped us find a Sales Representative who was extremely knowledgeable in the vehicle we were pursuing. Jag Dhillon helped us navigate through all the questions we had, was patient and helpful. Our kids were entertained (with popcorn), we were give all the information needed. Michelle Kellough, was extremely helpful navigating through our warranty options, we were presently surprised with what she found for us. Thank you, this was a big purchase and a big day for us and we really appreciated all you did for us.

Nissan Electric News
Nissan Electric Vehicle News For Seattle, Tacoma, And Bellevue Washington
If you have a craving for a new vehicle that combines technology with zero-emissions performance, a 2018 Nissan Leaf S should be at the top of your test driving list.

This EV eliminates the need for expensive gas station fill-ups since it’s powered by a 40-kWh lithium-ion battery pack, boasting an EPA-rated range of 150 miles or 112 MPGe combined. The Leaf S also features a 110-kW AC synchronous electric motor, providing power to the front wheels and generating 147 horses and 236 lb-ft of torque.

Charging is managed by the 6.6-kW onboard charger, which takes approximately 40 minutes to refresh the battery to 80 percent when equipped with the 50-kW CHAdeMO DC fast charger. This is a huge improvement over previous models – now, in a 2018 Leaf, you experience less downtime and more emissions-free mileage.

What’s more, the next-gen Leaf offers improved technology, making it smarter than ever. As you motor around Seattle or the PNW, the Traffic-Aware Cruise Control (TACC) system will automatically sense vehicles in front of you and adjust your speed accordingly. With Nissan’s ProPILOT, you also benefit from autonomous driving assistance since this tech is designed to keep your Leaf centered in the lane and always on track.

The future of driving has arrived in Seattle, Washington! To take a 2018 Leaf S for a spin, contact our team at Kirkland Nissan today.
Spring has arrived in the PNW and if you are like many other eco-conscious folks, you might be in the market for a new zero-emissions vehicle to chauffeur you into the next season. If so, consider test driving an all-new next-generation 2018 Leaf S from Kirkland Nissan in Seattle. This plug-in performer now offers better performance and range, making it a worldwide favorite and global best seller.

The 2018 Leaf uses a 110-kW AC synchronous electric motor, which powers the front wheels and delivers 147 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. The 40-kWh lithium-ion battery pack features an EPA-rated range of 150 miles or 112 MPGe combined. When the battery is depleted, fast-charging takes about 40 minutes to reach an 80 percent charge, which is very little downtime compared to past generations.

Aside from its efficiency, the Leaf is also incredibly smart. Traffic-Aware Cruise Control (TACC) automatically senses vehicles in front of you and adjusts cruising speeds with just the right amount of acceleration or deceleration. Next-gen Leafs also boast ProPILOT technology, which provides autonomous driving assistance, keeping you centered in your lane and always on course.

best price 2018 nissan leaf seattle washingtonIf you've had your eye on a Nissan Leaf, but haven't been able to pull the plug (so to speak), now is a great time to own this all-electric vehicle. For 2018, the next generation Leaf has been improved every way over previous models - it's better looking, offers more power and battery range, and it boasts a lower purchase price compared to last year.

Let's start with the styling. New for its next-gen design, the Leaf now sports a more conventional look akin to its gas-powered counterparts. The curvaceous shape and bug-eyed front lights of yesteryear have been replaced with sleeker lines, which are more reminiscent of Nissan's traditional design cues. The only indication of its electric powertrain is the wide charging port door, which remains centered on the nose of the vehicle, just above the grille.

Hidden under the cabin floor is a 40-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack, which powers the 110-kilowatt motor, producing 147 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. This ups the Leaf's performance by leaps and bounds, delivering 40 more horses and 49 more lb-ft of torque compared to the 2017 model. Plus, the 2018 Leaf now boasts a range of 150 miles and an energy-efficiency rating of 112 mpge, which is another gain from previous generations.

But, one thing the 2018 Leaf didn't inflate is its price. According to The Car Connection, the cost of the EV fell as its range rose, which isn't something we often see in the automotive industry. It's also $7,000 cheaper than the Chevrolet Bolt EV. Now that's something to celebrate!

best price on 2018 nissan leaf in seattle waAt Kirkland Nissan, there is one thing that we believe about the 2018 Leaf - it's a winner! Since its release at the start of the year, the world's best-selling all-electric vehicle has been stashing away accolades and awards.

To date, all have honored the plug-in for its supreme efficiency, range and high-tech offerings. And they keep rolling in! Earlier this month, the 2018 Leaf was given Kelley Blue Book's Five-Year Cost to Own Award, which celebrates new vehicles with the lowest projected ownership expenses.

The award takes a number of considerations into account, such as depreciation, anticipated fuel costs, financing/insurance fees, maintenance/repair costs, as well as any state fees for new models within the first five years. Even with its advanced engineering, innovative technologies and plug-in power, the Leaf rises to the top and we're not surprised. With zero need for gasoline, this EV slashes a huge expense from drivers' budgets, saving them big dollars over time.

Want to know what all the buzz is about? The 2018 Leaf is currently available for test drives at our dealership in Seattle, Washington. Choose from three well-equipped trim levels (S, SV and SL) and enjoy greater range (up to 150 miles), plus a dynamic new design that also incorporates Nissan's latest technology, such as ProPILOT Assist, e-Pedal, Automatic Emergency Braking and more.

We're sure that you'll consider the 2018 Leaf a winner too.
The 2018 Nissan Leaf isn’t even available for purchase on North American soil, but that hasn’t stopped the EV from collecting global awards and accolades prior to its Seattle release. Most recently, the 2018 Leaf was named a “Best Small Family Car” by the Next Green Car Awards 2017, which recognizes the most environmentally friendly vehicles to debut in the United Kingdom over the last 12 months.

Covering eight different categories, the winners are selected from a shortlist of 32 different models across 18 manufacturers. Winning models cover seven vehicle categories and have all been judged against a range of factors, including environmental, performance and cost criteria. Other considerations, such as suitability for purpose, impact on the market, and value for money, are also taken into account.

The Leaf snagged the same award in 2015 for its 2016 MY rendition, proving what we already know at Kirkland Nissan – the Leaf is built on a solid foundation of excellence and innovation. The 2018 model impressed the judges with its improved range, distinctive design and cutting-edge driving technologies – three factors that families look for when purchasing an all-electric car.

Is your family excited to test drive the 2018 Leaf? Well, good news – you won’t have to wait much longer. The next-gen EV is currently on sale in Japan, but will be arriving at dealerships in North America in just a matter of weeks. As soon as we have inventory, we will be sure to share the news with our customers so that you can schedule a test drive in this family-friendly plug-in.

In the meantime, we have many great new and preowned models in stock at our dealership. Click here to browse our online inventory or visit us at 11930 124th Ave NE in Kirkland, Washington.
Ladies and gents, the countdown is on – and it’s not the New Years countdown that you might be thinking of, but rather the highly anticipated arrival of the 2018 Nissan Leaf. New models of this next-gen vehicle will be ready for test driving on North American soil in a matter of weeks. It almost feels like Christmas morning, hearing this news!

As we speak, the Smyrna Assembly Plant in Tennessee is cranking out models of the all-new Leaf. They are one of three global facilities producing the EV, along with the Oppama plant in Yokosuka, Japan, and a factory in Sunderland, England.

Smyrna has been home to the Leaf since 2013 where Nissan employs 8400 people and makes 640,000 vehicles a year. It’s no doubt a big week in Tennessee as they kick off production of the most dynamic and revolutionary vehicle ever built here.

At Kirkland Nissan, we are eagerly awaiting the all-new 2018 Leaf EV to hit our inventory, as are many Seattle area drivers. And, just this week, anticipation has grown even deeper after hearing news that the Leaf took top honors at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) annual Unveiled ceremony, which was presented by the Consumer Technology Association.

In fact, the 2018 Leaf didn’t receive one honor, but two, which cements what we have always known about this zero-emission vehicle – the Nissan Leaf is pioneering the way with innovative advancements that change how we lead our daily lives and lessen our carbon footprint.

At the CES, two Nissan technologies received recognition (ProPILOT Assist and e-Pedal technologies), earning the CES Best of Innovation Award Winner for Vehicle Intelligence and Self-Driving Technology, as well as the CES Honoree for Tech for a Better World. This is the 2018 Leaf’s first honors, but we expect many more to come.
