Available in eight unique trim levels, the new 2021 Jeep Cherokee can be fitted with one of three engines. Every model comes with a 9-speed automatic transmission and 4WD except for the base Sport. This one may also be fitted with FWD.

Starting with the standard 2.4-litre Tigershark MultiAir Inline-4, this unit delivers 180 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque. Next is the first available motor known as the well-rounded 3.2-litre Pentastar V6. Using Variable Valve Timing (VVT) an Engine Stop/Start (ESS) technology, it generates 271 hp and 239 lb-ft of torque.

Finally, you may also opt for the turbocharged 2.0-litre DOHC Inline-4 with ESS on the Altitude and Limited. Pushing out 270 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, the maximum towing capacity is capped at about 907 kg (2,000 lbs).

While the precise numbers may vary slightly, the average fuel economy is estimated at around 10.2 L/100 km (23 mpg) in the city and 7.6 L/100 km (31 mpg) on the highway. This small SUV is brilliant for daily driving, road trips, and adventures in the wild!
