Peter-Paul Van Hoeken 
Founder & Chief Executive Officer

 

Peter-Paul has over 15 years of experience in finance, investment management and business consultancy. He held a number of senior management positions with several global banks in the areas of corporate strategy, commercial and investment banking, and management consultancy in Europe. Since relocating to Canada in 2010, he led the corporate finance and business development teams in the renewable energy space. Peter-Paul currently serves as a director on the National Board of the Private Capital Markets Association in Canada. He holds a Masters Degree in business economics and finance from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Sean Burke, CPA,CA
Chief Financial Officer

 

Sean Burke has over five years of professional service experience working at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in corporate tax and audit. He was relocated to New York, where he advised several of the world’s largest banks in the banking and capital markets sector. In 2013, he was named the Chartered Accountants Most Exemplary Young Professional, an award given to one CA in Western Canada. In 2012, he was awarded the PwC National CEO award, the highest honour for PwC Canada employees. Sean is active in his community and serves on multiple boards in Vancouver.  Most notably, he is on the SFU Board of Governors Responsible Investment Committee, the SFU Alumni Association and the Whisky Wisemen not-for-profit organization.   

Leonard Guenther
Chief Operations Officer

 

Len Guenther has over ten years of experience in venture capital markets. He has served as the chief compliance officer of numerous publicly traded companies in the mining and oil and gas industries. Len has also been appointed to manage due diligence on a variety of acquisition and merger opportunities. Prior to his engagement in the natural resource sector, Len enjoyed success in both the film and television and the publishing industries. He received his M.A. from the University of Toronto, specializing in comparative economic history.
 

Imraj Pasricha
Chief Technology Officer

 

Imraj has over eight years of experience in software architecture, design, implementation and testing of small and large-scale web applications. In 2009, he started Webilize, a web and software development company located in Vancouver. Imraj is proficient at web programming in various languages, software development and has experience in leading large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders. He is actively engaged in the startup community as a technology advisor and investor. Imraj holds a Bachelor of Applied Science, Major in Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
