2022 Ford Escape: Now Available with Class II Package in BC
Although the 2022 Escape is a compact SUV, it is capable of pulling quite a lot of weight. The standard number is 680 kg (1,500 lbs) to easily accommodate everyday cargo needs. However, you can get the Class II Trailer Tow Package to bump its capacity up to 1,587 kg (3,500 lbs). That is almost unheard of for this segment. Paired with the 2.0L Ecoboost engine, this group adds a stronger hitch receiver and Trailer Sway Control to prevent fishtailing at highway speeds. It is currently only offered on the SEL and Titanium trim levels.
