Another key to having a successful - and fun - run is to dress appropriately. You definitely need a helmet. Most professionals prefer one with Snell date codes M2010 or M2015. These are more recent. You should also do some research on racing or hire a private coach beforehand.
Finally, you need to eat and stay well hydrated. Make sure to bring easily digestible snack foods and plenty of water. You don’t want to get nauseous or dizzy during the event. Do not consume alcohol within 24 hours of the race.

At the 2.5 Day Camaro Driving Academy, drivers get to apply intermediate techniques, including corner set-up, weight transfers, and entry and exit phases. The following morning, they'll take to the entire circuit with a walk and then one-on-one feedback from the instructor regarding lapping.
After the one-on-one instruction, students can then take to the whole track for themselves with open lapping. Everyone will also get a comprehensive group and individual evaluation to hone their essential driving skills further. And once everything is complete, certificates of recognition will be handed out, as well.

That's right, bring your modded car and drive it as it was meant to be during designated times offered to non-street-legal vehicles (as long as it meets sound levels). Motorcycles are welcome as well, and they are provided separate opportunities for riding.
Members also may have spouses and dependents (up to 27 years old) accompany them, and you can add other family members from 28 to 35 for a small additional fee. That way, the whole gang is afforded the chance of on-the-track thrills in BC.
