While fans of the conventional (and still excellent) F-150 can still opt for a gas-only model in 2021, for this model year, Ford’s also doing something different: a hybrid variant! And let us tell you, it’s something special.
The F-150’s first-ever gas-electric powertrain is set to put a smile on your face thanks to its PowerBoost powertrain, which will gift drivers a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that is mated to a 35-kilowatt electric motor and a 1.5-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery. This not only provides a limited all-electric range for the truck but also results in what looks to be the most powerful F-150 available this model year, with up to 12,000 pounds of towing.
The interior of the new F-150 is no less spectacular. It will deliver SYNC 4 with voice recognition, cloud-based connectivity, and over-the-air updates. Additionally, there are max recline seats and an available 12-inch touchscreen (8-inch display is standard).
The new 2021 F-150 arrives this fall. Call us today for more details!
