There are many things to wax poetic about regarding the 2021 F-150 Hybrid, but it’s the powertrain which is so immensely impressive and that takes precedence over all others. The twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine is the first-ever gas-electric powertrain in the entire history of the F-150 series. It utilizes a 1.5-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery matched to a  35-kilowatt electric motor to produce ample power—enough, in fact, to create a 12,000-pound towing ability. There’s also a limited all-electric range available; the overall range impresses at 700 miles/1125 km on a full tank.
