The all-new 2021 Bronco is nearly set for release, and Ford fans everywhere are getting an official taste of what to expect this upcoming Monday, July 13, when the Big Blue Oval brand shows off the fruits of years’ worth of labor on National Geographic, ESPN and ABC at 8 p.m. EDT. Ahead of that reveal, here are some fun facts about the Bronco:
Since Ford first ended production of the machine back in 1996, the Bronco’s popularity as a collector’s item has continued to grow. Since Ford’s announcement in January 2017 that the Bronco would make a return, valuation has shot upward. The Barrett-Jackson Auction Company now claims that first-generation Bronco valuation has doubled in three years, from $39,763 to $74,820.Â

Hagerty says the 75.8-percent gain in valuation is among the highest of any collectible SUV in the past three years.
To date, the Bronco has been featured in more than 200 songs and greater than 1,200 films.
