Partnership Between Goldcorp And Kaminak Gold Promises Increased Mining Activity

The future of the mining industry proves positive - with analysts and shareholders alike celebrating a recent alliance between Goldcorp and Kaminak.According to Mining.com, Goldcorp (the world’s third largest bullion producer) and Kaminak (a leading Canadian company) have joined forces, with a $520 million merger helping to bolster the North American market. This merger delivers increased operations to the Yukon territories - specifically the Dawson City region, where more than 3 million ounces of product are speculated to exist.
This speculation now sends Goldcorp and Kaminak to the north, where they’ll seek to develop the current Coffee Gold Project (as well as pursue new mining opportunities). Through this, they’ll create employment options and inspire a market surge.
