Trading agreements between Canada and the United States have (historically) failed to inspire confidence, and export tensions have remained high.Connexus is happy to report, however, that this may soon change.
According to 'Wood Business', Chrystia Freeland (Canadian International Trade Minister) and Michael Froman (U.S. Trade representative) have recently entered negotiations for the softwood market. The intention is to eliminate trade disputes and promote growth among producers and consumers alike.
