stainless steel chain manufacturer portland oregonIn 2014 Connexus Industries arrived on the North American market - merging some of the world’s leading companies (including Lacey-Harmer, Viking Chains, and I’Anco) into a single entity. The purpose was to redefine the manufacturing field, reinvigorating production and delivering superior applications.

steel chain lumber manufacturers in vancouver bcFrom February 9th to February 11th, the tiny town of Tulare reigned as the agricultural mecca - with the 2016 World Ag Expo delivering showcases on intelligent wireless irrigation, fully-automated shaker technology, solar panels, and more. More than 100,000 guests marveled at the market’s latest innovations.

Among those innovations was the Portable Sawmill - the result of a partnership between Connexus Industries and Norwood.

The Connexus team was proud to see our low-profile, sharp top chain on display at the World Ag Expo. It was used by Norwood, one of the leading providers of forestry equipment, to enhance their portable sawmill. This dynamic option accommodates both hardwood and softwood logs, utilizing a rigid 4-post carriage frame to ensure precision. Its unique design allows it to adapt to both large and small capacity milling, with laminated sawheads delivering expedited results. Customizable features - including oversized band-wheels, ceramic blade guides, and extreme-duty log clamps - promote efficiency in every environment.

Our sharp top chain promises that same efficiency, fusing the Norwood portable sawmill with stainless steel durability and flat-bottom distribution. This allows the machines to keep pace with changing market demands - promising extended usage and more effective operations.

Our partnership with Norwood helps to strengthen the North American lumber sector... and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for these portable mills.

2016 world ag expo connexus industriesIn 1967 the first World Ag Expo arrived in Tulare, California - greeting guests with a series of field and row-crop innovations. It was a small celebration, drawing 28,000 attendees (most of them from the local region); and it required only a tiny patch of acreage to host its 157 exhibits.

The 2016 Expo proved a stark contrast, delivering 106,349 attendees amongst 2.6 million square feet of International Agri-Center space. It was a record-breaking event - and Connexus Industries was there to witness it.

From February 9th to February 11th our team hosted an Ag Expo exhibit, showcasing our stainless steel chains. This showcase connected us to an astounding client network, with Tulare serving as the center of both the manufacturing and farming worlds. Distributors, agriculturalists, and even fork-lift operators browsed the endless rows; and their searches eventually led them to our booth, enabling us to directly address industry concerns.

This proves crucial for the development of stainless steel chains - allowing us to better understand what our clients need, expect, and deserve. By participating in the 49th annual Word Ag Expo we gained rare insights into all major sectors, strengthening our network and sparking new ideas for future products.

The 2016 World Ag Expo shattered previous records, drawing heavy crowds throughout its three-day span. Connexus Industries was proud to participate in this premier event, and we know that the relationships forged in Tulare will prove as durable as our products.

underwriter laboratories certification bc canadaIn 1896 William Henry Merrill - graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and consulting electrician for the Chicago World’s Fair - launched the Underwriters’ Electric Bureau. This national board was intended to both examine and improve safety within the industrial field. Through it the leading technologies of the time (including arc lamps, rheostats, and fixture insulation joints) were carefully tested, and from these tests came a series of ethical codes and standards.

These standards remain today.

The Underwriters’ Electric Bureau - now known as Underwriters’ Laboratories - has served North America for more than a century, helping the commercial and industrial markets improve their operations. It serves as the leading authority on compliance and safety implementation.

This is why Connexus Industries is proud to announce that we’ve achieved UL Certification.

March brings more than spring for Connexus Industries. It instead provides UL Certification, with our Lazer Tracker products receiving recognition for their quality and market standards. The award - which was earned through the efforts of Ralph Cook and his development team - showcases our commitment to client service. We ensure that every workplace environment receives superior safety and operations.

connexus industries nywea trade show 2016In 1929 the New York Water Environment Association (NYWEA) was founded, delivering a clear message of sustainable management - with members urged to innovate their operations and improve their systems. It emphasized the need for education and training; and it bridged the gap between manufacturers, distributors, and engineers. Through it connections were formed.

These connections remain even today. NYWEA ranks among the world’s most vital conferences, helping to promote quality management throughout North America - and Connexus Industries was proud to participate in the recent 88th trade show.

From February 8th to February 10th, Connexus Industries (along with other key exhibitors, including: AECOM, Elliot International, HDR, and Nova Consulting) took part in the NYWEA conference. There we offered wastewater solutions - such as our latest I’Anco stainless steel chains - to improve the viability of every system. We stressed the need for precise constructions and sustainable materials, wishing to stabilize the market through environmental integration.

We weren’t alone. The entire NYWEA conference was dedicated to system enhancement, offering seminars on high-strength waste removal, water reclamation, green infrastructures, and more. Through this the industry can better accommodate changing consumer needs.

Connexus Industries thanks those who visited our booth during the 88th NYWEA conference. Together we’ll transform waste management.

connexus industries world ag expo 2016Hidden in California’s Central Valley is Tulare - a tiny town shadowed by the foothills of the Sierra Nevada and tucked inside a series of orange groves. It doesn’t share the fame of the nearby Fresno, nor the popularity of Porterville. Each year, however, this area becomes the center of agriculture: connecting farmers, manufacturers, and vendors alike to its World Ag Expo.

On February 9th, the 2016 World Ag Expo began - and Connexus Industries was there to welcome the many attendees. This event (which is the largest of its kind, drawing more than 150,000 visitors annually) provides the agri-market with a surge of new ideas and technologies. Exhibitors come from across the globe, bringing with them a promise of a better tomorrow.

Connexus Industries was among these exhibitors. For almost a decade we’ve served as a manufacturing representative, offering steel-cast products to improve production. This year was no exception, with our team showcasing its I’Anco brand. This exclusive line of chains promotes more efficient operations, with sustainable materials adapting to the rigors of harvesting and expediting results. Through this mills can keep pace with growing consumer demands.

Since 1968 the World Ag Expo has delivered countless innovations. Connexus Industries is proud to add our I’Anco chains to the ever-expanding list.

american society of sugar cane technologies conference 2016On February 1st Louisiana will become the center of the sugar industry, playing host to the American Society of Sugar Cane Technologies’ (ASSCT) annual conference. This event - which highlights emerging patterns in both the agricultural and manufacturing markets - will showcase the latest technologies used in harvesting, processing, and extraction.

It will also serve as a key learning opportunity for Connexus Industries. Our team will join the ASSCT conference, gaining insights into the future of sugar production. Through a series of seminars - including 'Factors Affecting Raw Sugar' (presented by Harold Birkett and Jeannie Stein), 'Alternatives to Conventional Ripener Programs' (presented by Ryan Viator), and 'Molasses Exhaustion in the C-Strike' (presented by Daria Aragon) - we’ll discover the agri-market’s most pressing issues.

We’ll then apply these issues to our own production processes - strengthening the value of every sugar mill chain, bagasse carrier chain, cane feed and washing table chain, and more. We already connect clients to Controlled Heat Treating and ISO9001:2008 standards. This conference will simply highlight the further steps needed to address Canada’s ever-growing economy.
