In comparison, the Ford F-150's two base trucks, the XL and XLT, use 12.1 L/100 KM in city driving.Â
Comparing Larger Motors
More powerful engines reduce fuel economy. That is the case with the Ram 1500's 5.7L V8 HEMI, which gets a combined 13.8 L/100 KM. This motor has an eTorque mild-hybrid variant that improves consumption to 12.8 L/100 KM with a 4x4 drivetrain.
