Equipped to handle light-duty jobs with ease, the new 2021 Ram 1500 Classic comes standard with several components that make it worth your while.
Â
Every model (except for the Tradesman Regular Cab with the 2x4 drivetrain) comes with stabilizer bars in the front and back. Combined with the multi-link coil spring and heavy-duty shock absorbers, you will experience a pleasant ride every time you slip behind the wheel. Even if you need to drive out to a remote work site, the trip will never be jarring. Another helpful component here is the suspension system with upper and lower control arms.
Â
If you opt for the top-of-the-line Warlock, it will also get extra HD shocks in the rear. This adds enhanced cushioning for when you have to drive over jagged rocks.
Â
Models with the 4x4 drivetrain also house an electronic shift-on-the-fly part-time transfer case. This allows you to toggle between 2x4 and 4x4 modes smoothly while traveling on the highway. It’s ideal when it begins to rain or snow, and you need a bit more traction control to avoid hydroplaning.
