The 2021 Jeep Compass sees things you can't as you drive around BC thanks to its available Blind-Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Path Detection system. It acts as another pair of eyes on every trip to help keep you safe.
Blind-Spot Monitoring employs two radar sensors that scan the road at around 3.8 m (12 ft) laterally and detects if any vehicles are present in your unseen areas as you change lanes. It's included as standard for the Limited and Trailhawk trims and is available for other models.
Rear Cross-Path Detection (same availability) operates at about 3 m (10 ft) and kicks in when you're backing up to look out for unseen obstacles behind you. Both systems flash warning lights and sound an alarm while lowering the radio volume to alert you about hazards during drives around BC.
