Trucks are large. This is part of their unique charm.
What proves less charming, however, is the struggles drivers face while sitting behind the wheel. Trying to keep these behemoths in the correct lane can be challenging; and their long beds and square shapes will become less than ideal when not hauling payloads.Â
To counter this, the 2021 Ram 3500 has an available Lane Departure Warning with a Keep Assist system. It uses sensors that activate at speeds above 60 km/h (37 mph) to detect road markings during drives around Langley - ensuring that operators are more aware of their trajectories and surroundings.Â
If the system senses drifting out of a lane without a turn signal, it displays a warning to alert you. The wheel gets a gentle nudge, too; but, if that does not result in corrective action, the Ram 3500 can steer back itself into a proper alignment. Add the Blind Spot Monitoring system, which uses dual wide-band radar sensors to watch areas you can't see, and you'll be changing lanes with confidence anywhere in BC. This feature shows alerts of hazards on the corresponding side of the pickup as required.
