Full-size, light-duty pickups are very popular these days - and with good reason. With the 2021 Ram 1500 Classic Warlock, you can take advantage of two different powertrains and customize performance outputs to your specific needs.
Â
The standard motor is a 3.6-litre V6 that is built by Pentastar. Thanks to Variable Valve Timing, you can expect a solid fuel economy of approximately 13.8 L/100 km (17 mpg) in the city and 9.4 L/100 km (25 mpg) on the highway. Fitted with an 8-speed automatic transmission and E-shifter, this Ram generates 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. The maximum towing limit for the largest body style is 2,140 kg (4,720 lbs).
Â
The other available engine is a 5.7-litre HEMI V8. Using the same transmission and E-shifter, it adds a Multi-Displacement System (MDS) to help save on gasoline. On average, it gets about 15.6 L/100 km (15 mpg) in the city and 11.1 L/100 km (21 mpg) on the highway. It also produces 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque. Finally, it can pull up to 3,737 kg (8,420 lbs) without breaking a sweat.
