Since 2016, the Okanagan Dream Rally has been putting smiles on kids’ faces annually.
Although this year’s event was cancelled, the show will still go on in 2021. Children who participate will ride in a high-performance car with a professional driver for the day. Starting in downtown Kelowna, spectators can watch them take a fun-filled journey through Peachland and Penticton.

Although the 2020 Okanagan Dream Rally was cancelled due to COVID-19, our ultimate goal of reaching $1 million in donations was still met.
Since 2015, our team here at the August Family Foundation has been trying to reach this point. Through the generosity of our neighbours here in Kelowna, BC, we are proud to report that over $1,643,000 has been raised to-date for the Ronald McDonald House.

After launching the August Family Foundation in 2015, we gave ourselves five years to reach our goal of raising $1,000,000 for local charities.
As of 2020, we are very happy to announce that our team has exceeded this major milestone by collecting over $1,643,000 for the Okanagan Valley community.
We couldn’t have done it without the support of our fellow residents. From the bottom of our hearts, we’d like to say thank you!

Set to take place in August 2021, the Okanagan Dream Rally brings smiles to the faces of children.
Able to participate in the drive, these kids get to ride with a professional driver in their very own sports cars. Similar to a parade, the event begins in downtown Kelowna, BC, and it takes a circuit route through the Valley in areas including Peachland and Penticton. Onlookers can join in with excitement by cheering the youngsters on.

As a proud partner of the Okanagan Dream Rally, we are excited to announce that a portion of the proceeds from this local charity event will go to the KGH Foundation’s newest project known as JoeAnne’s House.
This organization allows families to stay with their hospitalized children under one roof. Featuring 20 bedrooms, a large kitchen, a living room, a gym, and a kid’s play area, this facility is designed to feel like home.
