It stops the particles from getting down in-between the bed and the liner. All you have to do is remove anything that is currently attached to the interface plate. Then, fill the holes with the provided plugs. Crafted from weather-resistant, synthetic rubber in black, these pieces can be removed after the payload reaches its destination. The kit comes with 4 cleat plugs and 2 lighting plugs.
