March has arrived to Los Suenos, bringing with it rising temperatures and steady migration patterns. Calm currents proved perfect for the first week, keeping big-game fish near the surface and helping anglers snag some truly impressive hauls.
During the week of March 1 to March 6 anglers saw an influx of fish, specifically Sailfish and Blue Marlins. These creatures were found in abundance around the Los Suenos shoreline, as well as close to nearby Tortuga Island. Improved weather conditions were cited for the sudden increase of big-game.
Groupers were also spotted near shore, arriving earlier than anticipated. They were a welcomed sight for anglers, however, and bolstered overall catch counts.
March is already poised to rival February's exceptional hauls. Contact Costa Rica Fishing Adventures to learn more about this Los Suenos season. Ask us also about our charters and accommodations.
