On March 15, Costa Rica Fishing Adventures was happy to announce the astonishing news of a White Marlin sighting in Los Suenos.
Now we’re even happier to announce that the sighting has been verified by the International Game Fish Association (IGFA), the world’s largest angling organization.
According to the recent reports, the IGFA has confirmed the authenticity of the White Marlin. This fish - which was caught by New Yorkers Bob and Karen Weaver and required over two hours to reel in - has never been properly documented, with no proven photographs or videos.
