April has finally arrived and it’s brought new fish to Los Suenos instead of its proverbial showers.
During the week of March 29 to April 4 anglers were greeted by rising temperatures and increased migration. Inshore fishermen experienced an influx of Tuna, earning high numbers with every charter tour. Deep-sea enthusiasts were also impressed, reeling in an excess of Blue Marlins, Dorados and Sailfish. Both catch-and-release and edible fishing proved successful.
Not even April Fool’s Day could deter strong numbers in the Central Pacific. Los Suenos’ Spring season is well underway and many ships, like the Sweet Dreams and the Barnacle II, posted exceptional averages.
