During the peak tourist season - which occurs from December 1 to June 30 - Manuel Antonio National Park will be open seven days a week. This is a substantial increase from its original five day week and will allow more people to enjoy its many trails and beaches.

The reason for this expansion is due to the rise in the park’s popularity. It ranks among the top Costa Rica travel destinations and changes had to be made to accommodate the many arriving guests. Adding two extra days will ensure that no angler, surfer or hiker is turned away.
