Storms have arrived to Los Suenos, shattering early predications of summer temperatures and affecting the catch quality.
From June 2 to June 9 Los Suenos experienced a series of thunderstorms. The high humidity and frequent lightning proved unlucky for charter crews, with many fish fleeing the surface The catches were sporadic and much of the big-game disappeared.
Reports of Mahi-Mahis and Yellow Fins still prevailed, however, and anglers were able to take advantage of the edible season. These breeds should remain throughout the rest of the month and provide enough excitement. Expect occasional Groupers as well to ensure challenging deep-sea tours.
