All told, youâ€™re in for a satisfying and comfortable driving experience.

First, the engine. The 2016 Sentra SL is outfitted with a highly capable 1.8L four-cylinder motor and a six-speed manual transmission. This means youâ€™re getting the thrill of stick driving merged with 130 horses and 128-lb.-ft. of torqueâ€”plenty for a car of this class. Perhaps the spec that stands out most here, however, is the fuel economy. The EPA estimates youâ€™ll receive an average MPG of 29 city / 38 highway.

There are a number of smart inclusions throughout the cabin that provide a strong dose of convenience. There are a ton of nifty features on the upscale Sentra SL, ranging from the safety-oriented to the comfort-inspired. In regards to the former, the hood of the car offers a crumple zone that automatically works to absorb the impact of a collision and keep passengers secure. Additionally, the side breakaway mirrors fold back to reduce damage when coming into contact with any object. They also serve to make it easier to fit into tight parking spots.

As mentioned, there are many comfort inclusions within this sedan, too. The back row features stadium seating, keeping rear passengers more connected to the front and effectively reducing motion sickness. The perforated leather cushions with blue-accented stitching help the heated functionality work more quickly. And of course, all SV and higher trim models of the Sentra also come with Nissan Intelligent Key.
