The new 2022 Ram 1500 is loaded with over 100 standard and available safety features. Already parked on our dealership lot here at O’Connor Chrysler, you can drive home in one of these full-size, light-duty pickups today!
Â
First, the Blind-Spot Detection System is designed to let you know where other vehicles are in proximity to your truck. Just because you can’t see the other car in your side mirror that doesn’t mean that the coast is clear to swap lanes. This mechanism will help you avoid swiping other automobiles on the highway. It even works when you have a trailer in tow.
Â
Next is Forward Collision Warning. Thanks to front-mounted sensors, it can determine if an upcoming obstacle poses a threat. If no evasive action is taken, this operation can trigger the emergency brakes to stop the Ram 1500 before impact is made.
Â
Another popular component is the 360-Degree Surround View Camera System. This intelligent function gives you a bird’s eye image of everything around you from your parked position. You don’t have to worry about causing a fender bender.
