This hybrid truck is designed with efficiency in mind, boasting an estimated city fuel consumption of 5.9 L/100 km. The 4K Tow Package boasts several features, starting with a two-inch trailer hitch receiver, seven-pin trailer wiring plug and an integrated trailer brake controller, which enhance the Maverick’s trailering abilities. An upgraded radiator and cooling fan, a transmission oil cooler and numerically lower axle gears are also included, along with 17-inch tires for XL and XLT trims.

Instead, this platform promises enhanced safety by including a host of active and passive assists that are designed to protect and ensure peace of mind.

Ford has fused the all-new 2022 Maverick with Co-Pilot 360 Technology, which comes standard on the Lariat trim. This intuitive suite of protective features helps drivers stay in command, whether on the highway or at the job site.

For example, in low-visibility settings, auto high-beam headlamps can sense poor lighting conditions and turn on the system to illuminate the path ahead. If an oncoming vehicle is detected, the headlights automatically dim for added convenience. Ford Co-Pilot 360 also includes pre-collision assistance, which uses front-mounted sensors to perceive potential obstacles. Should the driver fail to act, the 2022 Maverick comes equipped with automatic emergency braking to avoid a collision. A rearview camera is included, as well, which simplifies reverse parking moves by providing a clear view of obstructions lurking behind the vehicle.

The 2022 Maverick allows commercial fleets to drive more efficiently and with added confidence. To learn more about this model and its safety features, contact us at Skaha Ford in BC.

Now available through Skaha Ford in BC, this pickup comes equipped with a hybrid engine to help you go longer between fills.

With a 2.5L four-cylinder paired with an electric motor that produces a combined 191 horsepower and 155 lb-ft of torque, the 2022 Maverick returns an estimated city fuel consumption of 5.9 L/100 km. However, this gas-sipping performance doesn’t come at the cost of capability. All 2022 models with the hybrid powertrain feature an estimated 680 kg payload capacity and a 907 kg towing capacity.

Featuring a 1.37-m Flexbed, the 2022 Maverick can fit construction materials, tools and equipment as you shuttle between sites. The multi-position tailgate also proves helpful by extending the load floor to 1.83 m when you need to carry longer items.
